Pillow Head Games is an Australian indie game studio, working on pushing breakthroughs in the VR industry through games and entertainment. It is currently manned by one jack of all trades, Braycen Jackwitz.
Pillow Head Games was founded in 2016 by Braycen Jackwitz, after becoming fed up of working on PHP web projects. Having experimented with VR with the Oculus Rift DK1, he decided to make the leap into full roomscale VR with the HTC Vive. Working out of the co-working space Firestation 101, he spent many months experimenting with the new tech before releasing what is widely regarded as the stupidest idea for a VR game ever, ‘Watching Grass Grow In VR – The Game”. The game released to mixed reviews on Steam, to the surprise of no one, however it did win him a trip to E3 2016 with Gamespot for its brash stupidity. After spending many more months of experimenting and procrastinating, he finally decided to start working on a more serious project and mind birthed ‘The Zero Dome’.
